So, keeping this is important when you are actively looking for work. Recruiters might not notice your profile and find it fit for a job if they don't see the open to the work tag. They wouldn't have to go to and fro and ask whether you are looking for a job or not. If they have some similar openings, they can directly share the details. They would see the open-to-work tag and the profile you are willing to work for. The tag becomes important for searchers and HR people on LinkedIn. Just like you turned it on when you needed a job. Once you find a job or stop looking for one, turn this off. It will waste their time as well as yours. To turn off LinkedIn looking for job tag completely, click on 'Remove Open for Work.'
